Nestled in the luscious and majestic valleys surrounding Rio de Janeiro, there is an amazing farmhouse compound – the music legend Lenny Kravitz’s home. Ten years ago he was scheduled to fly back from Brazil to the United States after a concert when one of his friends mentioned that there is an amazing place he definitely needs to visit. Although it was their last night in Rio, the singer decided he would very much like to see it. He didn’t leave for 6 months – that is how much he liked what he saw. Two years later Lenny Kravitz returned to purchase the land with all the buildings on it.

Art Gallery House

Art Gallery House is a project by LINE Architects design studio and is spread over 780 sq. m. on top of a small hill. The house is located in Chisinau, Moldova and is intended to look like an art gallery within a living space, also to produce an abstract view. A glass rooftop and lots of natural light connect the outdoor with the indoor space. Around the world design: Surgeon’s Room – Knox Hospital -Australia

The Surgeon’s Room project is an extension and renovation to the consulting rooms for Knox Orthopaedic Group. Located in Melbourne, Australia, the project is unique because of the unlikely at first glance connection between orthopedics and architecture that the design team worked on. The inside and outside parts are also connected, bringing lots of natural light which leads to the greater well-being of patients and staff. Very sculptural yet pragmatic – the project was finished in 2014 by the highly skilled team of FDM architects.
